My eyes were open but I was truly blind!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Paul. You have changed my life for the better in such a way and so instantaneously that if someone told me what happened I would think that they had lost the plot! To try and summarize an intricate story, essentially this is what happened: I went to work on a building site one morning with a deep understanding of myself and everything around me. That afternoon I realised that the previous sentence was a complete and utter lye! :-)

I was always looking outwardly for the solution, for things, for people, for drugs, money. These things don't bring happiness I have come to realise. I realised that essentially we are all the same person experiencing reality from a different viewing screen, and that what often makes us the most upset about others is that we can see that behavior in our own version.

There is no such thing as the past or the future. The present is all that is, ever was and ever will be.

Don't waste your energy on things/ people that don't have the insight/ respect for themselves to make positive change. However when a student appears down the track, there will be a teacher I'm sure.

Knowledge is only potential energy and will always be. Knowledge and action is kinetic energy, as is a driver-less bus speeding down a hill. However, Absolute inner awareness combined with laser like focus is true power. Power to keep digging deeper into the toxic dump that our souls have become accustomed to. This gift, the gift of vision is what I recieved from Paul in a matter of an hour! It was the most amazing and emotionally complex feeling I have ever experienced in my entire life.

| will never forget that day for the rest of my life.

Thank you brother, I am eternally grateful for that unconditional love that I have now been radiating to all those around me!

There are too many wonderful things that came out of meeting Paul for a comment section, so I'll finish with this: If you are reading this theres a good chance you have already felt the same ecstacy through enlightenment. So hello brothers! :-) If you are reading this and don't know what any of this means, then it all might make sense one day for you too or sadly in many cases never at all. This can't be forced on someone. The mind has to be open and the inner power for good strong before the journey begins... One day this gift will be passed on through me as it has been through Paul to me.

The truth is what we all seek, but be warned it's confronting and emotionally draining at first. Coming to accept the truth however about yourself and others will set you free.

I wish love and happiness to you all.

Ian..

Just a quick note of appreciation to Paul and Tim. Being a person in the very early stages of recovery, I've been reading through some of the content on AMA, and have to say that it's really helping me to understand how I've been been in total denial about my addiction. A fact that I now see I also denied !
Reading through the first 3 steps as written by Paul, a vast amount of them resonate with me, more so than the "tradional" steps of AA. That's not to say that I won't continue along the path with AA; I figure I need all the wisdom that I can get. A particular area that stands out to me is the boyhood vs manhood experience. I'm only now really seeing that pretty much every thing a did centered around getting acceptance from others, proving myself and filling an inner void that I had not previously considered. I was too busy being the last man standing, the best in the business, the guy who could cope with anything. My addiction certainly proved me wrong on all of those. The difference now is that I can see it. Clearly it's early days for me, but for the first time that I can remember, I actually believe that with the right guidance and faith, I'm up for the journey. And for a reason I can't yet explain, there's a great sense of relief that comes with that. Thanks Gents.

I would just like to express my gratitude to Tim and Paul for facilitating an amazing recovery retreat. It was a truly freeing experience both on a personal and spiritual level. I'm also grateful for the honour of sharing my experience with some truly amazing people over the 3 days I was there. I can't wait to do it all again.

Forever indebted to Paul Murphy for his guidance through some tough challenges over the past couple of years and being the magician I needed through my many years of immaturity. I am so much more a stronger and confident person moving forward on my journey through this enlightened phase of my life. Keep up the good work Paul and Tim as your work is so much needed in our "quick fix" society.
